We often conduct polls involving the Las Vegas Raiders to see how this community feels (we love your input).
Well, our latest poll got a lot of interest, naturally, because it involved the quarterback position and it seems (for the rest of this season) most Raiders fans would prefer to have the former No. 4 and not the current No. 4.
Last week, we asked readers would they rather have former Raiders’ quarterback Derek Carr (now the starter of the New Orleans Saints) or Raiders’ rookie Aidan O’Connell quarterback the team for the rest of this season.
And the results weren’t that close. Carr was the winner. Ina poll that had 2,151 responses, Carr received 62 percent of the vote (1,335 votes), while O’Connell, a fourth-round pick from Purdue, had 38 percent of the vote (816) votes.
The poll did open prior to Week 12 when O’Connell was solid in a loss and Carr had a poor game in a defeat.
Still, the poll shows many fans would rather roll with Carr, for the final stretch of the season.
