Sara signs and Gnonto stays – Leeds United’s dream starting XI if transfer rumours are true

Leeds United are slowly stepping up their preparations ahead of the 2024/25 Championship kick-off.

The Whites are bidding to bounce back following their play-off heartache last season, falling at the final hurdle at Wembley Stadium after a narrow 1-0 defeat to Southampton in the play-off final. With Archie Gray and Glen Kamara already out the door, there is still some work for Daniel Farke to do.

United have been active in the market, bringing in Jayden Bogle, Joe Rodon, Joe Rothwell and Alex Cairns to help beef up the squad ahead of what is set to be a highly competitive campaign in England’s second tier.

The future of Willy Gnonto remains a big question mark, with star man Crysencio Summerville close to completing a move to West Ham United. Summerville, named the Championship’s player of the year last year after bagging 21 goals across all competitions, will be a difficult man to replace.
