Round 21 Team News: Bulldogs to face Broncos ; Viliame Kikau vows for away victory

After a tight contest at the weekend, the Bulldogs will be looking to bounce back on Saturday afternoon against the Broncos. As the Club battles to maintain their spot in the top eight, it is sure to be a competitive match.

In team news, Head Coach Cameron Ciraldo has called on an unchanged starting 13 from the Round 20 Cowboys clash.

Harry Hayes has held down a spot in the 17, named on the interchange bench after an impressive debut on Sunday. The young backrower made himself at home in first-grade, amassing 26 tackles and posting 78 run metres over 31 minutes once injected into the match in the second half.

Fellow 2024 NRL debutant, Lipoi Hopoi joins Hayes on the bench, replacing an injured Chris Patolo (knee). The future stars will bring valuable cover for the forward pack along with Kurtis Morrin and Bailey Hayward, who are set to bring impact off the bench.

Matt Burton and Toby Sexton will partner in the halves again after combining for three try assists against the Cowboys.

Round 20 standout Josh Curran will look to continue his strong form as he starts at prop again this week. Curran proved to be an attacking force last Round, posting big minutes, running for 205 metres, and nabbing an impressive try.

The Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs will face the Brisbane Broncos for the first time this year as they back-up with another away match and head to Suncorp Stadium.
