Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills hope to bring their newly discovered “spark” to the Eagles game.

Josh Allen’s viral moment from Week 11 might sound familiar to you if you’ve seen any of the “John Wick” films or know the character.

In keeping with their weekly ‘Inside the NFL’ coverage, the NFL Films team spent Sunday in Buffalo collecting behind-the-scenes photos from the Bills’ 32-6 victory over the Jets. Camera crews caught Allen channeling his inner Wick, a man known to his teammates as a movie buff.

“I feel like I’m f—— back,” Allen exclaimed on the sidelines following the NFL’s longest touchdown pass of the season, an 81-yard completion from Khalil Shakir.

He cited the well-known film series as his inspiration when questioned about that particular moment following Wednesday’s walk-through.

He claims, “I watched John Wick 3.” I was therefore really fired up on the sidelines,” Allen remarked.

Not to put too fine print on the Bills quarterback, but the “I’m back” scene actually happened in the 2014 original “John Wick” movie. That may, however, make the quote more accurate because Allen stated this week that he’s attempting to return to his former, fiery self.

“Just trying to be myself out there and whatever it calls for me,” Allen said. “Whatever emotions I’m feeling, I feel like I play with my emotions on my sleeve and maybe I’ve been masking that the last few games or throughout this season.”

“But I need to let my guys know how much I care about this game and how much I care about them, so if that calls for emotion, that’s what it calls for.”

The Bills had their best team performance in more than a month, and the one-of-a-kind sideline moment was only one aspect of a bigger tale. The players and coaching staff have all concurred over the past few days that the team’s level of intensity and energy during the game against the Jets was notably higher.

Allen stated that it is crucial that Buffalo maintains the momentum from their performance in Week 11 as they prepare for a crucial stretch of the regular season.

“I believe it must,” Allen remarked. We’ve had a lot of internal conversations about how to motivate this team, and we believe we’re in a strong position at the moment.

Obviously, backs to the wall still remain as well. We still have a ton of games left to win. However, you must win this one; you cannot win the next.”
